STATEMENT

Group exhibition featuring Kristine Zingeler, Derek Bisbing, Alvin Paringit

The Dysfunction of Sameness showcases three photographers’ challenges to the mainstream. Alvin Paringit’s street photography documents fleeting moments while infusing humour and a keen eye for the easily missed. Derek Bisbing’s subtle scenes of easily accessed natural environments ask the viewer to see more by seeing less. Kristine Zingeler mixes collage, photography, and painting to create visual imagery that examines the human experience.
